Dali Museum-Theatre in Figueres

A tour to Girona can also be combined with Dali Museum-Theatre. Located in Figueres, the birthplace of the artist, the museum was conceived and designed by Dalí himself.
Considered as the biggest surrealistic project in the world, you will see that even the building is a work of art. It was built upon the remains of the former Figueres theater and inaugurated in 1974.
The painter created this space to place the most representative part of his art. It is the most unusual museum one can imagine. Salvador Dali wanted to surprise you and he managed!
