The medieval towns of Girona are historical treasures that seem to have stopped in time. 

All share the same  characteristics: cobbled and labyrinthintic streets, centuries-old walls and fortifications, Gothic churches, and synagogues. 

In Besalú (where the film «The Perfume» was filmed) we will discover its impressive bridge, its medieval center, its Old Synagogue and its walls.  Castellfollit de la Roca is another of these must-to-see. It seats on a basaltic cliff caused by solidified lava at 50 meters high. It is a small medieval village a kilometer long.
