A friend, colleague and collaborator of Antoni Gaudí, Jujol worked on numerous works by the modernist genius, becoming a key figure in the ornamentation of many of his buildings, such as Park Guell or Casa Milà (or La Pedrera).

Jujol stood out above all for his great talent reusing waste materials, he was a great visionary of poor art. His Sanctuary of Montferri resembles Montserrat. In fact it was built to avoid Montferri’s inhabitants their pilmigrage to Montserrat Monastery after the grape harvest.  A unique, small, amazing church only 30 mins from Tarragona!
